One extra screening test would have cost 4.5 months.

A test added at screening would have excluded a large share of the patients the sites could reach. We modeled its effect on eligible patients, patient burden, site workload, site feasibility and cost, and the full consequence was clear. The sponsor judged the test unnecessary and removed it before it reached the delivery plan.

Result: 4.5 months removed from the enrollment timeline.
